A Cause Close to Our Heart: Autism
We support several causes that align with our values, with a particular focus on autism, through our partnership with Autisme Montérégie.
This non-profit organization—mandated by Quebec’s Ministry of Health and Social Services (MSSS)—supports individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and their families. Their services include:
- A helpline and guidance to appropriate resources
- Support groups and specialized information
- Practical tools, awareness campaigns, and training sessions
Our support for this cause is part of our broader CSR commitment. It’s a way to stand with team members whose children are on the spectrum—and to contribute to building a more inclusive society.
Inspiring the Next Generation
Social commitment also means investing in the future of our industry. One of our HR team members leads a grassroots initiative to introduce careers in heavy vehicle mechanics to high school students across Quebec.
By visiting schools and connecting with students in vocational programs, she opens the door to real career paths—right here at Camions Excellence Peterbilt.

- Truck’n Roll En Cœur (Bedford): We are proud to sponsor this family-friendly charity event promoting trucking careers and raising funds for Fondation En Cœur, which supports children with heart conditions.
- Grand Défi Pierre Lavoie: We stand with our client Transport Robert by supporting this cycling challenge that promotes healthy lifestyles.
- Fondation Emergo: In 2023 and 2024, we sponsored the foundation’s golf tournament to support Quebec families living with autism.
- Amaverneq Golf Tournament 2025: This event raises awareness about post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) among truck drivers—often triggered by traumatic events on the road. Our support helps break the stigma around mental health in the transportation industry and promotes access to meaningful resources.
- Ordre des Pédaliers de l’Avenir: We donated $500 to support people living with multiple sclerosis.
We’ve also contributed to various community and client-driven initiatives, including:
- Client initiatives: E360, Express Mondor, and Michaudville
- Sainte-Julie School: Donated an outdoor bench for student use
- Municipality of Saint-Jacques-le-Mineur: $600 donated for the Family Festival
